
Tolerances at the outlet are +/-0.05 mm (+/-0.002") for the width and +/-0.1 mm (+/- 0.004") for the height.

Smallest bent radius is usually located
close to the outlet.
It is technically possible to go down to 1 mm (0.04"); however, it is not recommended to go below 2.5 mm (0.1") as the smaller is the bend radius, the lower will be the light transmission.

In the middle part of the rod, standard tolerances on the section are +/- 0.1 mm or 0.004".

Standard inlet shape is usually made from unshaped cylindrical rod and tolerance on section is 2.5 +/-0.05 mm or 0.098+/-0.002".
